Our Process

We work with you and your family to understand and advise you, by following a well proven financial planning process:

-    Understand: here we seek to understand not only your current financial position, but also why you have chosen to make the financial decisions you have up to this point, and crucially what your future plans and aspirations are. This may well also involve us auditing and researching the detail of what plans you already have in place, to ensure the money you have already committed to an investment, is delivering value and opportunity relative to your desired levels of risk verses reward.

-    Be understood: here we make tax efficient recommendations on how to improve on your current position, and increase the chances of you reaching your life goals – recommendations underpinned by robust investment management principles and continual monitoring of the investments chosen.

-    Implementation: here we work with you to implement our planning suggestions, involving your wider family where appropriate – to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

-    Review: at a future point, typically but not exclusively 12 months later, we will review the planning with you, taking into account any legislative changes that may have occurred, investment market opportunities, and changes in your own circumstances.

-    Family consultation: in due course, it will be appropriate to meet the family. This could be to enlighten them as to the planning we have undertaken that will make a difference to their lives; to introduce ourselves as financial planners who are there to advise them in the event of your passing on how to manage your estate; or to facilitate you introducing them to high quality financial advice to benefit them individually as they navigate their own life journeys.
